Our Story
How Deck Builder Seattle Started
Founded in 2008 out of a small garage in Wallingford, our shop has grown from a single-truck crew into a fully licensed, bonded, and insured deck-only specialist serving every Seattle neighborhood from Downtown to Brighton.
We started because we kept seeing the same thing: homeowners getting upsold on full deck replacements when a careful repair would have lasted another decade. We knew we could do better, and we have. Over 17 years and 1,250+ projects later, we still operate by that same principle.
